This is a complicated 3D model of multiple hexagrams.  The hexagram, or star of Davis as it is also called as an originally pre medieval geometric model that was used in many culture as a symbol and means of identification.  It has become the national symbol of the Jewish nation, but is also still a Christmas symbol in the Christian religions.
